Remember the Fathlete...before she pigs out this weekend!

I love this picture, and will remember it fondly after tonight's fondue GNS (Girls Night Scarfing), and tomorrow's Italian food GNCM (Girls Night Caloric Massacre) and whatever The Manfriend and I get up to this weekend.

Viva la holiday!

I love working out, and I love healthy food. But the more weight I lose, the harder it is not to get cocky and eat what I are yesterday (the words "Spana" and "kopita" figure prominently.) Tomorrow, I plan to work out for like two hours and be a monster and tear it up and be fabulous. And I don't wanna screw it all up because the two people who read this blog will be upset with me.

I just love food so much. It makes me happy. Soooo happy. And sometimes it's hard not to focus on it and love it and eat it and call it George. But I'm gonna keep looking at this picture, and then looking at the one at the beginning of this journey, and decide which is closer to the one I wanna look like.

Yeah. I like this one too.

If only cheese wasn't so sexy.

I know how this feels. Right when I start making progress, I start saying things like this:

I deserve a little indulgence.

This won't hurt a bit; I've got some wiggle room now.

I can work it off-- later.

You're doing something very smart; something I haven't yet mastered: Work out now. Plan now. It's not too late to think about what you really love about the holiday weekend-- be that time with friends and family, or a special food that "is" the holiday. Have a little. Enjoy. And know that you prepared for the moment.

You're lookin' good! Now... if only I could get off the computer, and the sofa, and follow your lead.

Hey, more than 2 people are reading this blog!!! I'm very very proud and jealous and envious and jealous, but mostly proud of you. Can you send the trainer to Bmore for just 10 days to help a sistah out? Just asking...

Oh my goodness. Leslie, we watched a lot of "biggest loser" two summers ago. But since then, an even greater development has occurred: Dance Your Ass Off. Are you watching this? Dancing + weight loss? Incredible.

Check this girl out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WQr3kVLb-2U&feature=player_embedded.

She dances pretty well, I think. Plus she said said she is willing to sweat her weave out. I hope this girl wins.
